I played with it... and the message I get when I cancel is transfer finished as opposite to transfer cancelled.

Another thing when cancelling a transfer: not only does the notification still offer an "Open" button (which makes no sense for a cancelled transfer), but also the created temporary files aren't removed, e.g. when the transfer of example.png is cancelled at 0%, there'll be these 0byte files afterwards:
