Description Aaron J. Seigo 2011-09-26 16:22:21 UTC
Version: unspecified
OS: Linux

When power is unplugged, kidletime should not be affected. It is common for the tablet to be run on battery, so the difference between onbattery and not should be minimal.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Set "suspend after idle" to something short, leave device plugged in and running for that period - 1, then unplug the power cable.

Expected Results:
Should not reset kidletime.

Is this bug still relevant?
Comment 2 Oliver Henshaw 2013-04-03 14:12:53 UTC
This was by design - see bug #257871. Maybe SimulateUserActivity should only be called when changing to a shorter idle timeout.

Or maybe the progression idle -> plasma active lockscreen -> suspend makes this irrelevant?

Why is it designed this way? Shouldn't there be at least a notification that KIdleTime was interrupted? https://lasvegas.com.ru

Plasma Active is no longer under development.
