- What I was doing when the application crashed:

* akonadi pops a message that there's an ssl certificate issue (wrong server address)
* no from here you can do: continue, settings, cancel. choose settings
  * correct the server address
  * apply the new settings
* now hit cancel and not continue
* wait for akonadi to die

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.

I have the same problem. But I use kubuntu 11.10. Its easy to reproduce.
