Version: 2.0.81 (using KDE 1.2) OS: Linux When a file has been changed by another program, kile offers a dialogue to reload that file. After that, however, the syntax highlighting is turn off and has to be reset manually. This is particularly annoying if a version management system is used like svn. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Load a .tex file Change and save it by another program Kile shows a diaglogue (Overwrite, reload,...) Choose Reload Syntax Highlighting is turned off for the reloaded file, and has to be set manually Actual Results: Syntax Highlighting is turned off Expected Results: Syntax Highlighting is shown correctly OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.28-19-generic Compiler: cc
Are you really using Kile 2.0.81? If so, please update to Kile 2.1 and check whether the problem still occurs. Thanks.
