Description anton.schiela 2011-09-23 08:33:14 UTC
Version: 2.0.81 (using KDE 1.2)
OS: Linux

When a file has been changed by another program, kile offers a dialogue to reload that file. After that, however, the syntax highlighting is turn off and has to be reset manually. This is particularly annoying if a version management system is used like svn.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Load a .tex file
Change and save it by another program
Kile shows a diaglogue (Overwrite, reload,...)
Choose Reload
Syntax Highlighting is turned off for the reloaded file, and has to be set manually

Actual Results:
Syntax Highlighting is turned off

Expected Results:
Syntax Highlighting is shown correctly

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.28-19-generic
Compiler: cc

Are you really using Kile 2.0.81? If so, please update to Kile 2.1 and check whether the problem still occurs. Thanks.

This bug has had its resolution changed, but accidentally has been left in NEEDSINFO status. I am thus closing this bug and setting the status as RESOLVED to reflect the resolution change.
