- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I deleted a cople of commands in a tex file
- Unusual behavior I noticed:
When I used Strg-R for replacing, I couldn't insert the words by marking them. I used copy and paste.

But independently of that, can you maybe update Kile on your system to version 2.1?

Did you use folded code? It probably is a duplicate of bug #265426.
