We really need something like the advanced color selector here that allows users to chose colors and opacity using the selected color model/bit depth.

Not sure if we shouldn't just remove this color selector...

It's still relevant: it also holds for the image background color selector. We need a color managed color selection _dialog_.

I think I may have done this?
