Version:           2.1.1 (using KDE 4.7.1) 
OS:                Linux

When trying to use Google Maps as the map for geotagging correlator or in the right information bar digikam shows a popup saying "Malformed URL" and the map stays blank. No problems when using marble

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
click on an image, go to Image -> Geolocation and set the map to use to Google Maps

Actual Results:  
An error popup shows saying "Malformed URL"

Expected Results:  
It should shoh the map from google maps

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.37.6-0.5-desktop
Compiler: gcc

Google maps works well here. What's your version of libkgeomap and KDE libs?

Libkgeomap is 2.1.1 and kdelibs are 4.7.1... But i found in the package manager (opensuse) two libkgeomap (libkgeomap1 and libkgeomap) with same version number. Installed both (before only libkgeomap1 was installed) and it's working now...

Same to me on opensuse, just installed libkgeomap,  libkgeomap1 was already installed. Now, Google maps are working fine.
