Version: 1.99.0 (using KDE 4.7.1) OS: Linux Seen at least 5 times these last days : After having typed an email, clicking on "send" causes the message window to close, there's no evidence of any process happening or the message being sent. It doesn't appear nowhere, neither in "sent" box, nor in "outbox", nor in "drafts". The message is purely lost. After a time I logged out KDE and rebooted my system. At next KDE login, the KDE information icon opened 3 boxes saying "Sending mail failed - socket operation timed out". Yet, the supposedly "failed" messages were nowhere to be found. Lost. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: Send a few mails, some will get lost in space. Actual Results: Mail is not sent, it is lost, it doesn't appear in *ANY* folder. Expected Results: Mail must either be properly sent, or remain in outbox as "not yet sent". OS: Linux (i686) release 3.0.0-11-generic Compiler: gcc
Seen today a bunch of 6 messages being sent, some 2 weeks late ! Meanwhile they were nowhere visile to be found, neither in outbox nor in sent... Nowhere visible, but obviously still in the pipe... #WTF ?
