Description Toni Alenius 2011-09-14 17:26:28 UTC
Application: kded4 ($Id$)
KDE Platform Version: 4.6.2 (4.6.2)
Qt Version: 4.7.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.38-11-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 11.04

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I had used this computer earlier today at school and the battery had only few minutes left when I plugged it in a wall outlet at home, for some reason the battery indicator would not show me the updated information about the laptop being plugged in and the battery charging, so I pulled the plug and put it back, as this usually helps, and it did, but next the computer would go to sleep as if ordered to do so, most likely because I was using external monitor and the laptop's lid was closed at the time.

- Unusual behavior I noticed:

nothing really unusual as the computer did what it was supposed to do, as I have set it to go to sleep when battery is being used and the lid is closed, but I'd prefer some mechanism that leaves computer on if the computer is running when the plug is pulled/the computer changes to the battery power for some other reason.
