Description Romain Henriet 2011-09-11 07:19:06 UTC
Version: 2.0.0 (using KDE 4.7.1)
OS: Linux

Several software use sidecar files for storing operations, and name them like the image file.
Thus, an option to manage the image and all its sidecar files as only one entity would prevent sidecar files being lost in albums when photos are moved or renamed through digikam.
User could choose which files should be considered sidecar by selecting extensions in preferences window.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Edit a raw image "image.dng" in darktable.
Move this image in digikam and open the source folder in dolphin. There is still an "image.dng.xmp" file.

Actual Results:
There is still an "image.dng.xmp" file.

Expected Results:
image.dng.xmp should have been moved to the destination folder with image.dng
