Description Steve Rooke 2011-09-10 06:01:54 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

Klipper
Version v0.9.7
Using KDE Development Platform 4.6.00 (4.6.0) "release 6"

openSUSE 11.4 (also previous 11 versions) x86_64, Quad core 3GHz, 8GB

Clipboard history size: 999

When selecting "More" history, the popup window will overlay the current history which causes problems when the "More" option is at the same level as the previous popup as it will trigger a new "More" request with the tiniest twitch of the mouse. Interestingly, if while in this state, the mose pointer is moved to the protruding initial Klipper popup, subsequent "More" popups stack correctly side by side.

Severity: Loss of hair and hypertension effects, no fatalities noted yet!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
I have just installed a fresh copy of openSUSE 11.4 instead of upgrading from 11.3 but my home directory is on another partition and has therefore not been recreated (as I use this extensively, I don't want to loose the history).

Configure Klipper to have 999 history length (number may, or not, be significant. Select, cut and paste lots. Launch Klipper, hover over "More" on initial history popup and then on subsequent popups. Note that popups overlay each other and not stack correctly side by side. Without closing Klipper, move pointer to still protruding title bar to collapse popup tree and then proceed to hover over "More" again and this time see that popups stack side by side. Really annoying when you have a very sensitive mouse setting (1040 screen travel in about an 1", handy when your desktop is 3 monitors wide)

Actual Results:
Already described.

Expected Results:
Already described.

Now if I could get Firefox to handle hundreds of tabs without falling over, I'd be happy :)
