Version:           unspecified (using KDE 4.7.1) 
OS:                Linux

Kopete does not notify the user on incoming messages. No Sound is played, no notify popup appears, in spite of beeing configured.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Start Kopete.
Receive message.

Actual Results:  
No notification at all.

Expected Results:  
Sound is played, notification popup appears, entry in window bar flashes.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.38-11-generic
Compiler: gcc
