The KCal resource in deprecated in kdepim >= 4.6.0,
Please set up an ical resource pointing to the same file or URL instead.
Comment 2 i_bluestein 2011-09-09 12:03:14 UTC
That was due to my attempts to find a way to overcome other issue I am having with calendars - inability to add a new event or view any of the existing ones (although perfectly browsable with akonadiconsole).
But I saw that this has already been reported.

Thank you anyway, Christophe.

I confirm the problem with importing the .ics calendar to KOrganizer.
To me it happened after I upgraded the kde suite from version 4.6.2 to 4.7.1.
The current version of KOrganizer is 4.4.10 and it causes the problem, that the calender can not be imported, either as a new calender or as merged with the current one.
I don't know what version had the latest version which worked.
Comment 4 Christophe Marin 2011-09-26 16:29:15 UTC
korganizer 4.4.10 is also deprecated. The last supported version is 4.7.1

The KResource compatibility bridges don't exist anymore with KDE PIM 15.08.
