This is a WONTFIX. Nepomuk is actually quite stable and it's not necessary to disable it.
It is not so much a question of stability as one of philosophy - although the problems caused by nepomuk crashing are bad. But nepomuk is not meant as a configuration storage, and that is what you use it for in the activity manager. You should use KConfig.
