Version: 2.4.3 (using KDE 4.7.0) OS: Linux It's seems to happens randomly. If we click a track in the playlist Amarok don't play the clicked track but the successive one. For example if we click the song-3 it play the song-4 and the song-4 will be hilighted as the current track. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: The problem seems to appear randomly. And seems to affect only some specific album in the play-list. For example if we have two album in the play-list it's possible that the problem appear only in one album. If we clear a problematic, album from the play-list and immediately after we puts it in the playlist normally the problem disappear. Expected Results: fix the problem.
Which Phonon backend do you use? What type of files are these? Also, it would be nice if you could provide a debug output from the console when this happens. Just start Amarok with '-d --nofork' as options.
Created attachment 63447 [details] the output of amarok -d -nofork See the third message of this topic for more details.

Just start Amarok with '-d --nofork' as options. 1) I'm using gstreamer ( 0.10.35 ) 2) Flac (but I'm not completely sure that the problem is related only with the flac format) --------------------------------------------------- 3) I've attached to this topic a portion of the output of amarok -d -nofork I try to play the file: /media/esterno_xfs/data/Musica/Musica_5/Bach - 5 Klavierkonzerte - Bahrami - Chailly - Decca.part1/(01) [Johann Sebastian Bach] Concerto No.1 in D minor, BWV 1052 - I. Allegro.flac But Amarok play: /media/esterno_xfs/data/Musica/Musica_5/Bach - 5 Klavierkonzerte - Bahrami - Chailly - Decca.part1/(02) [Johann Sebastian Bach] Concerto No.1 in D minor, BWV 1052 - II. Adagio.flac I've copied the portion of the output generated immediately after the double click on the first track. [see the attachment]
Thank you for the feedback. This seems to be indeed a problem with the phonon-backend-gstreamer. You should try the phonon-backend-vlc instead. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 278432 ***
