Description trebla 2011-09-04 03:06:04 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.5)
OS: Linux

New addresses in KDE Address Book currently default to United States of America. Ability to change this to default to any of the other countries on the drop-down list would be convenient.

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
There needs to be an option in kde settings to change the default country for the address book.
Comment 1 Anders Lund 2012-02-01 19:36:02 UTC
KAddressbook should use the country set in your KDE locale settings as default. Is this not working for you?
Comment 2 trebla 2012-02-02 00:07:32 UTC
No. Always defaults to USA when adding new contacts. NB Can't use
Kmail at all at the moment - Akonadi server won't start. Are you
interested in me sending a crash report, or are all fc14 compatible
strands now unsupported?

Ok, I will try to investigate further when I find time, or you get back up
running.
