Description Alvaro Aguilera 2011-09-01 12:49:33 UTC
Version: 2.7.1 (using KDE 4.7.0)
OS: Linux

Konsole uses 30% when I switch the activity monitoring on.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open konsole
2. set the activity monitor to notify you via taskbar on
3. wait a couple of minutes

Actual Results:
30-40% CPU utilization

Expected Results:
"normal" CPU utilization.

I can't reproduce this. Are you sure the cpu load of konsole is not caused by the out of some process within another tab?
Comment 2 Alvaro Aguilera 2011-09-08 09:46:01 UTC
Well, I can't reproduce the problem anymore. That's good. However, the notifications of activity don't seem to be working at all. At least the ones I tried (popup and taskbar).

I can't reproduce that notification problem either. All notification methods work well for me with 'Monitor activity'.

Maybe you are talking about the 'trigger-only-once' problem in bug #257752?
