Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.5) OS: Linux Assume I do not plug my battery and start my computer with AC power; then I plug the battery and unplug the AC power. What happens in this case is the power manager does not switch to the necessary power mode. But if I start the system with battery, then everything goes right as it suppose to be. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: - Expected Results: -
Can you reproduce with current KDE 4.9? From what I can tell, when you plug in the battery, it adds it to the m_loadedBatteriesUdi and when you then unplug the AC it will use the Battery profile.
Problem still continues with the new Ubuntu 12.10's KDE 4.9
I have tried to reproduce this and I couldn't. Can you test with 4.9.5 and or 4.10? Also, is the battery plasmoid changing the icon?
Nobody can reproduce this issue, and we haven't got feedback for a few months, so I'm going to close the issue. Please, if you can still reproduce this with KDE 4.10 or 4.11 feel free to reopen the bug. Thanks for reporting !
