Description Thiago Macieira 2011-08-23 12:44:42 UTC
Version: 2.0.95 (using Devel)
OS: Linux

When you quit KMail with an email in composition, then reopen KMail, the Composer window shown will have lost parts of the email headers. It has definitely lost the Subject and From fields, and it probably has lost the Identity setting too.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select an email to reply to
2. Click Reply
3. Quit KMail without sending the reply (Ctrl+Q in the main window)
4. Wait for KMail to really quit (kquitapp might be necessary)
5. Relaunch KMail and observe the composer window

Actual Results:
The composer window shown is missing the Subject. If you type it in and try to send, KMail will complain that the From field is empty too, which probably indicates that the identity was lost too.

Expected Results:
All aspects of the unsent email are preserved, including the identity, From and Subject.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.38.7-desktop-1mnb2
Compiler: gcc
