Description Huynh Huu Long 2011-08-23 07:04:04 UTC
Version: 0.13 (using KDE 4.7.0)
OS: Linux

Use case: I want to use inline notes.

* 1st iteration: On creating a inline note, a popup window opens with a label "Text of the new note" and 3 buttons [OK, Clear, Cancel].

* 2nd iteration: Okular uses a popup note interface to let the user modify existing inline notes.

Remark: the "note" tool uses the second kind of interface consistently during creation and modification of the note.

Remark: As every tool uses the popup note interface it might be easier to use the popup note interface only, i.e. also in the creation stage. But does that allow for reshaping the inline note, for example when bigger amounts of text change?...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create an inline note
2. modify an inline note
3. compare step 1 and 2

Actual Results:
different input methods

Expected Results:
same input method
