Using Kmail within Kontact, I was trying to read email from an imap folder. The folder displayed a list of messages, but the preview pane remained blank, with the busy indicator still going from side to side for a very long time (more than a few minutes). I clicked on a message, then on Forward (inline) to see if I could see the contents of the message, and KMail crashed.
