Version:           2.0.4 (using KDE 4.6.5) 
OS:                Linux

It would be nice to be able to put some data source on text labels. I.e load content from text file and update automatically if file changes. 

This would allow using kst as data sheet generator where plots only won't do. It also would allow putting some single numeric values on the screen without being inside plot.

Also displaying tabular data as numbers on tab in similar fashion would be nice addition.

Everything requested by this bug are already possible, but not easy to find.

So:

Improve discoverability for dynamic strings, scalars, and equations in labels 
by adding a descriptive label to relevant places.
