Version: SVN (using KDE 4.7.0) OS: Linux Dragging and dropping metacontacts inside the contactlist in order to merge them causes the plasma workspace to crash. I use Kopete 1.1 that comes with openSuses KDE 4.7.0 rpms. Kopete 1.1 is not available in the dropdownlist here. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Merge two contacts by draging one onto the other inside your kopete contactlist. Boing- there goes plasma... Actual Results: Plasma workspace crashes. Contacts are successfully merged. Plasma automatically restarts Expected Results: well... no crash of course. OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.37.1-1.2-desktop Compiler: gcc The contacts to be merged were split-up because I switched my kontacts from kabc to akonadi when i updated to kde 4.7.0 The contacts to be merged were mostly offline - I was online with my ICQ and Jabber accounts. I disabled all desktop-effects because my pc is to slow.
