Version: 1.6.1 (using KDE 4.6.5) OS: Linux I was moving a GPX file from my mobile phone to my computer via Bluetooth. Unfortunately, Dolphin took over the full path to file on my mobile phone as filename for the file on my computer. The filename of the moved file is: obexftp:⁄⁄6c-9b-02-b8-6e-92⁄E:⁄wami-20110817-00.gpx Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Connect a mobile phone via Bluetooth 2. Move a file to your computer Actual Results: The moved file on the computer will have another (weird) filename than on the mobile phone before. Expected Results: The same filename for the moved file.
this also happens on Mageia with 4.8.1: Description of problem: when browsing a paired device (in this case a nokia series 40 phone) in Dolphin and copying a few files, the first of the copied files will get a name like this: obexftp:⁄⁄20-d6-07-46-67-32⁄Memory card⁄Images⁄Photo0406.jpg , instead of Photo0406.jpg like the 2nd and onwards copied file Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): bluedevil-1.3-0.rc1.2.mga2.src.rpm How reproducible: copy files from one Dolphin window (mobile) to annother one (local hd)

Hi, I just came to report this problem and found this bug. The problem is still there with plasma 5.11.4 and Dolphin 17.08.1 (I have files like obexftp:⁄⁄48-88-ca-6a-4b-ee⁄EXTERNAL_MEMORY⁄DCIM⁄Camera⁄IMG_20110618_104601.jpg). I was going to assign this bug to Bluedevil, but I found it is working in Krusader (2.5.0) without any problems. So what about at least after 6 and half years change status of this bug to "confirmed", so it can be hopefully fixed some day? :o)
