Description Charles P. Collins IV 2011-08-17 08:41:54 UTC
Version: 2.0.0
OS: Linux

Running Digikam 2.0.0-2 in a Gnome 3 / Gnome Shell environment.

Digikam segfaults when editing an image via Auto Levels or Auto Exposure, editing the photo description and adding tags, and them pressing "Page Down" to move to the next image.

This happens more than 50% of the time, but does not crash when only the description and tags are edited.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Click an image in the image browser to open in the editor window.

Apply Auto Level correction

Write a description

Enter tags for the photo

Press "OK" to commit the changes

Press Page Down to go to the next image.

Actual Results:
Over 50% of the time Digikam segfaults and crashes to the desktop.

Expected Results:
The editor should display the next image in the series.

The backtrace via the bug reporting tool says that no useful information is in the report. I can attach if anyone would like to see it.

With digiKam 5.0.0, this problem is not reproducible.

I close this file now. Re-open it if necessary.
