Description Alvin 2011-08-16 14:29:20 UTC
Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.0)
OS: Linux

The Kolab resource has 1 option that can be modified:
'Resource folders are in account:'
When changing this, nothing happens. Pressing modify again, will just show the previously selected account.

For example, this functionality is needed when #bug 280193 occurs

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
- Akonadi Resources Configuration -> Kolab -> Modify
- Change the Resource folder drop-down list.

Actual Results:
Nothing

Expected Results:
The Kolab resource should now start looking at the correct account.

Result of this bug is that Kolab contacts and calendar entries can't be found.

I confirm this.
Comment 2 Wolfgang Mader 2011-08-31 21:58:34 UTC
Is there a config file I can edit by hand to enable contacts and calendering again?

Same here on KDE 4.7.1

Using 4.7.3 I get the following behaviour: I have Kolab-Folders in one account. Those are being shown. Now I click on "Create Kolab Folders" with the other account selected: Now I have two Kolab root items in the Calendars overview. So in my case they get automatically detected.

Fixed in 4.9.
