What do you mean with help index?
The navigation tree at the left?
Which items do you have there?

Where does it show the path? In the statusbar?
Please quote path and the error message exactly.

What happens if you add "help:/khelpcenter" in konquerors location bar?

with help index i mean the help tree and i have many items there. I attached a snapshot as you can see i tried to open anything from the tree but it says in turkish "the help file that requested cannot be opened" and a path of help file next to it.

You error message "The requested help file could not be parsed..." is from kio_help.cpp file.

Do you have "customization/kde-chunk.xsl" e.g in:
/usr/share/apps/ksgmltools2/customization/kde-chunk.xsl
or
/usr/share/kde4/apps/ksgmltools2/customization/kde-chunk.xsl

Open a konsole and enter "locate customization/kde-chunk.xsl" to find that file
Comment 5 mustafaktay 2011-08-16 18:10:55 UTC
The requested file is in the following path

/usr/share/kde4/apps/ksgmltools2/customization/kde-chunk.xsl

I cannot reproduce your bug in kubuntu 11.04/kde 4.7.0, master + branch 4.7 compiled from sources and various virtual machines with several kde's from 3.5.9 up to 4.6.x.

I am slowly running out of ideas, but do you have a package docbook-xsl?

I have similar problem. The problem is that most pages are accessible, but the first page of any chapter is always reported as not founded if you click it.

I will attach some screenshots .

The chapter is loaded without problem.

the first part 'What is a terminal' is actually already displayed.

The first page is reported as not found

But if you click the 'What is a terminal?' in the tree view, it is reported as not found.

No response; assuming it was fixed since then. FWIW it works for me.
