Description Médéric Boquien 2011-08-09 18:13:59 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.0)
OS: Linux

With kmail 2, it is not impossible to change the name of an attached file in the composer window.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Attach any file. Right-click on it and select Properties. In the properties window change the name and click on OK.

Actual Results:
The name of the attached file is not changed in the composer window.

Expected Results:
The name of the attachment is changed in the composer window, as in kmail 1.

When checking the name again in the Properties window it contains the changed name not the original name, even though the name of the file in the composer is the original one.

Fixed in 4.7.1.
Comment 2 Médéric Boquien 2011-10-17 08:12:20 UTC
Hello,

I think it is not completely fixed. With 4.7.2 i can rename attachments, however after the file has been sent, when i check the sent mail it displays the original name of the attachment, not the edited name.

Thanks,

Médéric
