Description jazzwhiz 2011-08-07 19:15:29 UTC
Version: 2.3.0 (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux

I have, several times, copied tracks to collection to be organized correctly [although it does not matter how the tracks get there]. When scanned, even if rescanned, amarok is confused. Some albums have one artist for the whole album and multiple versions of the same song, with different track numbers. Amarok lists these tracks only once and without any track number.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Put an album in collection with two tracks having the same name but different track numbers.

Actual Results:
The given track shows up under the album without a track number, and only once.

Expected Results:
Both [all] the tracks should show up separately and retain their track info.

I suppose a fix probably would involve adding track number to artist, album, and title as what identifies a track as being unique.
