Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.0) OS: Linux It would be great if there was a mute feature that could turn ALL popups, notifications, sounds, and everything off completely while it is enabled. When disabled it would revert to the current notification configuration in its settings. This would be useful if I am working on something and I want to temporarily make Kopete completely non-distracting. If the feature had a enable disable option right there in the system tray's menu that would be ideal. And it should have another place to set it in Kopete's menus itself. And a third checkbox in the settings page for notifications. Perhaps this third location would simply grey out the granular notification settings while it is enabled. I am using Kopete 1.1.0 Reproducible: Always Expected Results: I would like to be able to totally mute and quiet Kopete while I am working on something important so it does not distract me.
I totally agree. You decide to watch a movie, it might be nice to press a little shortcut to disable all notifications. When you finish, you press it again and all notifications come back as before. It could even detect by itself when a movie is launched and disable everything by itself (something you can configure for sure).
Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained. Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
