Version: git-latest (using KDE 4.6.5) OS: Linux when i chat with one of my contacts and send him a few messages in a row.. the chat windows dont send my message anymore the cpu load of the telepathy-kde is over 100% then and i have to set this messenger account to offline then again to online and it worked again. when i try to send messages again and again nothing of my text will be reach my contact. i have testet it with WLM and jabber contacts and it will be happend again and again Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: everytime i send a few message in a row to one of my chat partners it will happend again Actual Results: i start my debian and set my telepathy-kde accounts to ONLINE... then i open a chat windows and after few times the chat will not countinue Expected Results: everything the same... after sending some messages the chat will stop send my messages OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.39-1-amd64 Compiler: gcc
Which component goes to over 100% CPU? (we don't have anything called telepathy-kde) Could you turn on the debug for telepathy-text-ui in kdebugdialog then: from a terminal run "telepathy-kde-text-ui" (it will appear to not do anything until a chat is started) Then paste the debug output
here i have a debug outpul when i start it from my terminal now i have checket a new strange thing... i had chat to a person for the debug output with the MSN plugin and could send message again and again. then i had open a new chat windows to a jabber contact and i couldnt send any message.... first strange situation like in my first post here is my output from the terminal This output is not really helpfull, we need debug from more low-level components to properly debug this. Please disconnect all your accounts, close contact list and/or presence plasmoid and check if you have telepathy-gabble still running. If you do, kill it first. Then run this from console: GABBLE_DEBUG=all GABBLE_PERSIST=1 /usr/lib/telepathy/telepathy-gabble And then try to reconnect your jabber account and send some messages. Paste here the output you'll get. Please note, that your telepathy-gabble might be stored elsewhere, so you may look for it first (use locate in console). Also please state your telepathy packages versions (telepathy-gabble and telepathy-qt4). Thanks.
