Version: Comes with KDE (using KDE 4.7.0) OS: Linux In version 4.7.0 of kolourpaint, if you open a picture by clicking in dolphin, edit the picture, and then choose save then the app opens the "save as.." dialog in the home directory, irrespective of where the file is stored. Why? It should just silently save the picture in the same place and the same name by default. If you choose "Save as.." it should offer the same directory the picture came from by default. This is a serious regression from earlier versions and makes it almost unusable. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a picture by clicking on it in dolphin 2. Optionally edit the picture (but his has no bearing on result). 3. choose "save" Actual Results: Result: the app opens the "Save as.." dialog in the home directory even though the opened file was in an entirely different dir. Expected Results: The app should have just silently saved the picture in the same dir it came from and with the same name, without opening a "Save as" dialog. I'm running Kubuntu 11.4 with KDE 4.7.0 from PPA repo.
