Description David Martí 2011-08-02 20:01:06 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.0)
OS: Linux

The right account names aren't shown in the "Send" drop-down list, they are outdated.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Start KMail for the first time.
2) Add a new Gmail account.
3) Go to Settings -> Preferences -> Accounts -> Select the new account -> Modify -> Change its name -> OK, OK
4) Click "New"
5) Leave "Send" pressed, and a drop-down menu with "Google Mail" will appear, instead of the new account's name.
6) Go to the Accounts panel again and add a new account.
7) Go to the "New" dialog again, hit "Send" again and you'll see the new account doesn't appear either.

it's not "modify" it's renamed no ?
Comment 2 David Martí 2011-08-03 20:01:17 UTC
Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. With "Modify" I mean you have to click the "Modify" button on the "Accounts" configuration panel.
Comment 3 Laurent Montel 2011-08-04 08:18:10 UTC
So you clicked on "Modify" button or "renamed" button ?

I don't understand what you mean either, and I think I made myself very clear in the steps. Do you want me to record a screencast showing the bug?
Comment 7 Laurent Montel 2011-08-04 12:35:22 UTC
you mean "sent menu" and you change "receive account" so it"s not logical
Comment 8 David Martí 2011-08-04 12:46:14 UTC
I'm really sorry, I misunderstood how this works. Closing.
