Description Silver Salonen 2011-08-02 17:20:06 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.0)
OS: Linux

I've marked many folders to never automatically synchronize and the settings is followed for periodic updates of the account. But on KMail startup all the folders are automatically still synchronized.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Disable automatic synchronization for an IMAP-folder.

Actual Results:
The folder gets synchronized on KMail startup.

Expected Results:
Folder shouldn't get synchronized even on KMail startup.

Still relevant with 4.8.0.
Comment 2 András Manţia 2012-02-11 23:51:40 UTC
Is the Check mail on startup disabled for the account? Configure Kmail->Accounts->Retrieval Options.
Comment 3 Silver Salonen 2012-02-12 09:25:35 UTC
I have option this enabled.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
