Version:           git-latest (using KDE 4.7.0) 
OS:                Linux

When I open a new chat window the old chats are not shown and it does not seem to be configurable. There also seems to be no chat history.

Reproducible: Always



Expected Results:  
The possibility to show old chat messages should be there, also a kind of searchable history.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.0.0-7-generic
Compiler: gcc

You're absolutely right, there is no code for this at present. It is quite high on our TODO list, but there are some technical 'decisions' to sort out first.

This was partially implemented already, currently you need telepathy-logger-qt4 from git://git.collabora.co.uk/git/user/mbatle/telepathy-logger-qt4 and recompile telepathy-text-ui.

Full history support is of course planned as well.
