Description mkkot 2011-07-31 11:33:13 UTC
Version: unspecified
OS: Linux

I have moved kde's 3 configuration for knode. Now I can see strange things in sent directory: messages with wrong dates and broken encoding:
http://pliki.netau.net/images/screen98.png

When I send a message to a group, I can see an error (translated version):

Can't read/write configuration.
No priviliges to home folder?
You should quit Knode to avoid data loss.

Files have -rw-r--r-- 1 mk users.

Beside that, program works normally. It even saves newly sent messages to Sent folder. After deleting ~/.kde4/share/apps/knode/folders/sent_3.idx problem doesn't appear any more but it means loosing all sent messages.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Go to ~/.kde4/share/apps/knode/folders/
Move somewhere sent_* files
Replace them with these: http://www.linux-porady.multimo.pl/inne/knode/
Try to send a post
Open the Sent folder

Actual Results:
Error is displayed:
Can't read/write configuration.
No priviliges to home folder?
You should quit Knode to avoid data loss.

Wrong encoding and dates within Sent folder

Expected Results:
No error is displayed
Correct dates and encoding of KDE's 3 imported data.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.39-ARCH
Compiler: gcc

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
