Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0) OS: Linux I use a startup script which contains the line kstart --desktop 19 --windowclass "Ding" --skippager --skiptaskbar ding and this works. However trying to do the same with "git gui" doesn't work: cd A kstart --desktop 10 --windowclass "Git-gui" --skippager git gui cd B kstart --desktop 2 --windowclass "Git-gui" --skippager git gui cd C kstart --desktop 2 --windowclass "Git-gui" --skippager git gui Here the 3 taskbar-entries are randomly distributed over desktop 1,2,10 (with every restart a new combination; except of this mis-placement it works; note that each git-gui starts in its directory). The startup script is handled via "System Settings/System Administration/ Autostart". Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Create three directories A,B,C with git repositories. Create the startup script as above. Start the KDE system (from the Suse login). Actual Results: Random distribution of the three application-windows on desktops 1,2,10; also the taskbar entry does not always correspond to the desktop the application is actually in. There seems to be no regularity in this behaviour. Expected Results: The three application windows should be placed in desktops 2 and 10 according to the instructions. OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.38.8-0.5-desktop Compiler: gcc gcc (SUSE Linux) 4.5.1 20101208 [gcc-4_5-branch revision 167585] Widget style Oxygen. Desktop theme "geek".
