there's only month view available; day, week, or work week views are missing

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
start korganizer

Actual Results:  
only month view is shown

Expected Results:  
to be able to choose day, week, or work week views as well

day, week, or work aren't views, they just control how many days the current view displays.

Disabled in month view for obvious reasons.

Go to Agenda view, or journal, timespent, timeline, event list views, then you can use "day, week, or work" options.

Seriously guys, that is a very strange change. I realise your logic, however that drove me nuts. Can Korganizer not automatically change from month view into agenga/week when week is clicked or agenda/day when day is clicked, like the old behaviour did?

Why two clicks when one would do?
