Description Arkadiusz Miskiewicz 2011-07-28 18:50:10 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.0)
OS: Linux

In kmail1 my base folder ~/Mail/ doesn't have cur, tmp, new directories. It only contains subfolders.

Now when kmail2-migrator does migration it adds akonadi resource mixedmaildir resource for $HOME/Mail but later kmail2 cannot process it (reports fatal errors and terminates).

ls -l ~/Mail/

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Recreate such folder on system with old kmail1 and try to migrate to kmail2 - didn't test this procedure on fresh system.

Expected Results:
kmail2 should work fine with this type of configuration as kmail1 was.

Can do more testing, contact me - I'm arekm on freenode irc network.

Sounds very much like the bug I reported a while ago and which many users with the mail in ~/Mail are encountering. My bug report is under 277530.

This is solved in Kmail 4.9
