Description bugspamme2012 2011-07-26 00:42:20 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 1.2)
OS: Linux

contrary to the documentation, with gps active, entering 'hotel' or 'Hotel' returns nothing (in offline mode), whereas e.g. 'hotel, cork' returns hotels ordered by increasing distance from your location as expected, when in the general area called 'cork'

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
offline mode, gps active, enter 'hotel' or 'Hotel' in search box.

Actual Results:
zero results found

Expected Results:
list of nearby hotels
Comment 1 Dennis Nienhüser 2011-07-26 22:19:56 UTC
Are you sure you had a fix (GPS position known) when running the search for 'hotel'? POI category names are case insensitive btw., so both hotel and Hotel work.
Comment 2 bugspamme2012 2011-07-27 01:01:58 UTC
yes, i can confirm that the gps has a position fix when the query is run.

'hotel' returns nothing
'hotel,' i.e. with appended comma returns nothing
'hotel, cork' works as expected, returning hotels ordered by distance from my current location complete with distance information.
