Description Dave Brain 2011-07-25 11:22:14 UTC
Version: 2.1.1 (using Devel)
OS: Linux

On every sent email a pop-up appears titled KDE Mail - Email successfully sent. This is intrusive and isn't really helpful.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Send an email using kmail to a SMTP server

Actual Results:
This pop-up should be feature enabled to turn it off if you don't want to see it. I can tell if a message hasn't been sent, it will remain in my outbox. This is an unwanted feature within kmail.

Expected Results:
Not to be annoyed with a pop up every time I send a message via kmail. I don't recall seeing this pre 2.1.1

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.37
Compiler: gcc

I can confirm it.
I will look at how to fix it.
Comment 2 Laurent Montel 2011-07-26 07:10:33 UTC
You can configure it with "kcmshell4 notify"
But it's right we can't configurate it in kmail directly
Comment 3 Laurent Montel 2011-07-26 07:48:44 UTC
Now I added a config dialog in maildispatcher agent
so we can configure notify here.

Could you test it .?
Thanks

Fixed in 4.7.1/master
in kmail notification we can modify sent mail notification.
