Description olivesandlilacs 2011-07-20 19:27:22 UTC
Version: 4.5 (using KDE 4.5.4)
OS: MS Windows

When I attempt to play KDE games (cards) the screen opens but no cards appear on the screen. This is the second time this has occurred. It was working fine, then suddenly, no cards. I removed it from my computer, reinstalled it, and again, no cards. Please help.
Sincerely,
olivesandlilacs@gmail.com

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
I removed the program from my computer and reinstalled it. I had it on for about two weeks and it worked fine. One day, I attempted to open the card games and
the screen appears blank.

Actual Results:
I reinstalled the program and again, no cards appear. I get a screen, but
the cards do not show.

Expected Results:
I expected that after I removed and reinstalled the program, it would work.
Alas, this is not so.

I would hope I could play the card games

The bug tracker sends you emails when the status of your bug changes. Christoph changed the product of your bug from kde to KPat.

Does changing to a different card deck (preferably one you've never used before) fix the issue? If so it's probably an issue with the pixmap cache corruption, which has been known to happen on Windows.

To remove the corrupt cache files and have them regenerated, delete the %appdata%\.kde\cache-YOURHOSTNAME\kpc directory. Please let me know if this works.
