on MeeGo:
- contour activities are currently  not represented with a thumbnail of the current activity (only grey area) and doesnt show the contour logo in the task switcher
- actually no aplication shows its thumbnail, only the icon

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
open the task switcher, look at the visual representation

Actual Results:  
only icon in grey area is shown per application

Expected Results:  
should be a screenshot/thumbnail of the screen with small logo

Sounds like compositing is deactivated. If you can connect a keyboard, try hitting [ALT]+[SHIFT]+[F12], which should activate it.

If that's the case, we should disable functionality checks, so kwin doesn't fall back automatically to non-composited mode.
