on MeeGo:
- currently no spinner is shown, when the system needs more time to process the queries (for example the laoding for newly added resources currently takes over 5 sec)
- would be good to have a spinner here that indicates directly after pressing the add button, that the system is reacting

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
- select an activity
- add new resources by touching the add item button
- select a few items and press add button
-> now see that it currently takes over 5 sec to load them in the activity screen

Actual Results:  
long time and no indication that the system is processing

Expected Results:  
loader, spinner should always popup whenever the system takes longer than 1 sec. to load

- the spinner is shown, when the user selects an application from the application browser... 
- but while creating new activities or adding resources, no spinner shows up, even if it takes a very long time
