- currently the virtual keyboard pops up, but doesnt enter any letter while pressing it...


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
press on any insert field in plasma active

Actual Results:  
no letter can be inserted

Expected Results:  
letters actually show up in insert field

tested: letters are now sended; only the enter button is not sended, see bug278670

works for now and for the demo: the search ist started while typing, so that issue is not relevant anymore

The virtual keyboard pops up on tap but doesn't output anything on certain places; ie: activity configuration overlay or application grid's search field.
Tested on 2011-11-28-09-14-basyskom-plasma-active-devel-meego-usb-live.iso

If you tap on the plus sign to create a new activity, and then tap on an area outside the "Activity configuration" overlay, the overlay goes away but the virtual keyboard stays there.
Tested on 2011-11-30-09-32-basyskom-plasma-active-devel-meego-usb-live.iso
