Version: Git (master) (using Devel) OS: FreeBSD kdepimlibs v4.6.90-26-g0823661, kdepim-runtime v4.6.90-10-g22c9e0f and kdepim v4.6.90-135-gc566926. I have an IMAP folder with mails from one of KDE's mailing lists. I clicked the "Folder" menu, chose "Mailing List Management..." and enabled the "Folder holds a mailing list" checkbox. If I then go to the Message menu and choose "New Message to Mailing List..." (or use the Ctrl+Shift+N shortcut), nothing happens. However, if I disable the "Folder holds a mailing list" checkbox again, both the menu action and the shortcut launch the composer dialog. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: - Choose a folder and associate a mailing list to it ("Folder" -> "Mailing List Management...", check "Folder holds a mailing list"). - Use Ctrl+Shift+N or go to "Message" -> "New Message to Mailing List..." Actual Results: Nothing happens. Expected Results: The composer dialog would be launched with the mailing list address (and other data, I don't really know).
I think that it's fixed in 4.6/4.7/master
Nope, it is still 100% reproducible with v4.6.90-141-g35cf4a0. Reopening.
worksforme with master (tested with two folders)
It works fine here. Closed
Indeed, it has worked fine now with a recent checkout. Changing the resolution from RESOLVED/INVALID to RESOLVED/WORKSFORME, as it better represents the nature of the resolution IMHO.
