Description act28 2011-07-15 09:15:46 UTC
Version: 4.6 pre (using Devel)
OS: Linux

kontact 4.6.1 on KDE4.6.5 continually downloads the exact same message multiple times, each time the message is approximately doubled in size of the preceding email.

Happens on both Arch Linux (latest) and OpenSuse 11.4/Tumbleweed. akonadi_imap_re ramps up to ~2G RAM usage and then kmail segfaults and crashes.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Unable to manually reproduce

Expected Results:
Mail is downloaded once only and software does not crash?

Huge improvements were made in the memory area. Please retry with recent kdepim versions (>= 4.7.1)
