Version: 2.1.1 (using Devel) OS: Linux KMail used to show main inbox folders on the top for each account. KMail2 sorts them just as they were additional folders. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Run KMail2. Actual Results: Main inbox folders are hidden somewhere between other folders. Expected Results: Main inbox is always on top for each account subtree.

True, more generic solution is better. :-)
To my mind this is not duplicate of 259358. This bug expects KMail to order special folders on top of the other ones, but 259358 expects manual re-ordering to work.
I also believe closing this as duplicate is unfortunate. If not for anything else but for the fact that even manual ordering doesn't allow for inbox to go first, even if attempted manually, because folders containing folders are always kept above folders containing messages.
