Description Anders Lund 2011-07-14 09:13:26 UTC
Version: 2.1.1
OS: Linux

marking mail as read leads often provokes a very annoying and unsable dialog that claims that something (akonadi?) experiences a conflict having to store two similar mails. This is of course plain wrong, there is only one mail. The dialog itself is unusable because it shows the two mails in a way that makes it difficult to compare them, they should be in equally wide columns of course, and the dialog big enough to display the data when ever possible. A 200x200 px dialog is not sufficient!

But this dialog should probably NEVER be shown, it is a sign of design error at least in any event I have been presented with it, something is done wrong rather than a conflict existing.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
use kmail2 and mark messages as read using keyboard

Actual Results:
conflict dialog

Expected Results:
message marked as read

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.39-ARCH
Compiler: gcc

the same is true if mail is marked by a rule using spamassassin... every received mail are then asked for conflict resolution !
