Description 20120808_bugs.kde.org 2011-07-11 19:32:57 UTC
Version: 2.0.0 (using KDE 4.6.4)
OS: Linux

I have digikam configured to both write to the files and save the xmp sidecar files. Moving images using digikam results in the images being relocated to the new location but the sidecar files remaining where they were.
Considering digikam is using this data, is the one that created the data, and is what was used to moved the images, I would have expected the sidecar files would have been moved along with the images.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
move images from one folder/album to another

Actual Results:
image files are moved
sidecar files are not

Expected Results:
image files are moved
sidecar files accompany the files to which they are the 'sidecar' (they are also moved)

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.38-8-generic-tuxonice
Compiler: cc
